Upgraded to 2.4.12 and cannot access my WD MyCloud EX2. I know the password is correct because I use it to access thru other means.

Are you trying to backup to a private share from the computer or is this when you try to access the device to see if the backup was made?
On the Home Page of Smartware there is a Login required for the backup device. You are required to click on the device image and enter your login information. I have never had a problem doing that until this new update. Coincidentally, I upgraded to Windows 10 about the same time.
