"Your My Cloud Desktop app is currently locked." Can't login after updating firmware

After updating firmware and updateing OS in the pc… Windows 10 build 1903, It doesn’t work to login from the My Cloud desktop app. Shows “Your My Cloud Desktop app is currently locked.” ??

@Thomas_Hoggren Which WD My Cloud device or devices do you own?

I have two, a 1st and 2nd generation My Cloud. The Desktop app no longer works, instead I use File Explorer to view what I have on my devices.

Hi cat0w. Thanks for your reply. I think mine is a gen 1. Sorry didn’t answer earlier to your reply. But I think WD must make the desktop app work. Because it’s simple and when a user like me has organized a lot it’s a shame if they just doesn’t care. As it is now I can use the File Explorer but not in my external computers…
Does’n they update the desktop driver when they update the dashboard. After updating the dashboard it stopped to work…

Works better than “File Explorer”
