You require permission from Unix User\root to make changes to this folder

I backed up my computer to a file on my PR4100 (OS3) and now want to delete that older file as I have saved a newer version of the backup. When I attempt to delete it, I get the message
“You require permission from Unix User\root to make changes to this folder.” I have found information that I can change my Unix User/root permissions using ssh. I’ve enabled ssh on my control panel but now have no idea how to access it, let alone what commands are necessary to change my permissions. In a WD community response to this same question, the individual pointed to a WD support answer (Answer ID: 26497) for this, but I am in no a way an advanced user and the information was of no help to me.

Hi @mcgheej,

Have you opened a Support Case? If not opened, for more information, please contact the WD Technical Support team for the best assistance and troubleshooting:

I have attempted multiple times to submit my issue to https://support-en.wd.com/app/ask in order to open a Support Case. When I click the submit button nothing happens. Please advise.
