How do I play/ add Xvid wmv file formats to my player

XVID WMV? What is that?

Or do you mean XVID (by itself) and WMV (by itself?) – as both formats ARE supported.

i have a movie file with name Xvid.wmv - media player tells me to "check supported formats as this file currently not supported

Please post the full TEXT output of MEDIAINFO for the file.

google search one wmv converter , it can help you ,such as Bros wmv converter ,it is good software
