I recently purchased a MyBook Essential 2TB external HD, and wanted to play movies by linking it to the xbox360. I formatted a partition for fat32 using the Partition Assistant software, so I now have a portion that is fat32, where I placed movies, and another partition that is NTFS. After plugging it into the USB port of the xbox, I get nothing. The xbox doesnt seem to recognized that the HD is plugged in. Any suggestions to getting the compatibility working?
Well to work on PS3 it needs to be formatted FAT32 LOGICAL not primary. I don’t recall any posts on Xbox. I don’t know if that helps or not.
