Hello,
I’ve got some issues on my WD Mycloud 3TB. It calculates the free space entirely wrong with other files having a negative file size. For one I have a 1 TB big vdisk file for my OS Recovery on it so 2.8 TB definitely cannot be true. I’m worried that there will be overwriting issues when I add more files. Also Windows explorere shows a wrong free storage.
Is there a way to use ssh to reset the index the UI uses? Some of you might suggest doing a firmware update which I don’t want to since I’m running an opencloud on the device.
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
Have you tried performing a system only restore?
Please page 84 of the user manual for more detailes on how to do that.

Hallo ERmorel, thank you for your answer,
Yes I did, basically this is what caused the problem in the first place. After the system only restore all shares were gone although the data was still on sda4. I then rewrote the /etc/samba/overall_share file and regained access, but it seems the UI doesn’t recognize theses files anymore. This is why I thought maybe there is a way to rewrite the index of the UI.
Funny thing though: the DLNA server seems to work with the shares.
