Hello!

I have a WD TV HD Media Player (I think its the gen2)

and I have bought a 3tb Mybook essential USB drive to put my movies on.

My question would my WDTV handle the 3tb MyBook? I dont care if i would have to create partitions, just plain would it work?

Nope.  Won’t work.

If you mess around with some things, it might appear like it’s working… for a while… but the drive will become corrupted.

Only drives up to 2TB are supported.

And What if I would do two 1.5 TB partitions?

Still would be corrupt?
