I attempted to update the firmware on a 1tb my book and it failed to update. after attempting to run the firmware again it asks me to remove all other usb devices except mouse and keyboard but it still wont recognize the drive. ive tried multiple cables and there is a light on and i can feel the drive spinning.
Hello jeffro9090, have you checked if the drive is recognized on the Disk Management window? If possible also try connecting it to another PC.

I have tried connecting to another computer with no success, the disk management wont recognize either. however the last time i plugged it into the computer there was the tone of windows acknowledging that something was connected but i cant access it anywhere
