WNA3100 and hub

Good evening, I just purchased a hub and I cannot for the life of me get it to connect via wireless.

The dongle is on the supported list.

I plug it in, go  to network settings click connect but it always comes back that it could not connect. On my PC under Network Infrastructure I have noticed that an “Internet gateway device has appeared” this must be the dongle.

Any ideas?

Looking at this I think it is because I have the wrong version / revision.

The below is on the list: -

How do I know the version number? Will it work?

If you go to NETWORK settings and don’t see a choice between WIRELESS and WIRED in the next menu, then no, the WiFi adapter isn’t supported.
