WMA files won't play on WD Live

Hello all!

I have a WDTV LIve and network share from my computer. I have many WMA files that I have ripped from CD’s in Windows Media Player 11, on to my computer’s hard drive. When I try to access them through the WDTV it states that the format is not recognized by the player. Could there be a bit rate limit to what the device can read? I rip all of my files at 320Kb for the best sound quality. Does anyone know what could be causing this issue?

Dsepite M$ claims best sound quality excludes WMA ■■■■. That said 320 kbit mp3s work just fine. Why encode to a proprietary format anyway?
