My Rosewill RNX-N180UBE is not seeing the N band on my Linksys Dual Band WRT400N. It does see the G Band. I have the latest firm ware installed.

You may try using the adapter with a PC, to verify if the issue is related with your WD TV or the adapter itself.  You may also try resetting the WD TV by holding its reset button for 4 seconds.
