Hi
I just went to move a few files to my PR2100 from my Windows 11 PC.
I have 5.61TB free space according to the WD Dashboard.
I don’t use any sync stuff, this NAS is purely for Plex and has nothing else on it.

You’ve got over 5TB of free space on your PR2100, but the file transfer from your Windows 11 PC isn’t going through. Since you’re only using the NAS for Plex and no sync tools are running, it’s probably something simple—permissions, file system limits, or a network quirk.
First thing to check: go into the PR2100 dashboard, head over to Shares > [Your Share Name] > Share Access, and make sure your user account has full read/write access.
If you’re moving a big file, double-check that the NAS volume isn’t using FAT32—those can’t handle files over 4GB.
Try skipping the mapped network drive and access the NAS directly by typing \\[NAS IP]\[Share]
in File Explorer. That rules out any mapping problems. Also, check if there are any quotas set on the user or the share that could be capping your storage.
Take a quick look at the system logs, too. Sometimes, tasks like RAID syncing or media indexing can slow things down or block file transfers.
Hello,
Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it.
I checked for read/write access. I’m using the public share, so this is auto enabled to give full access.
File size is 1GB, so not an issue of it FAT32, the volume isn’t FAT32.
Access the NAS directly as you suggested and got access, still getting the issue of no enough storage.
No quotas on the user/share as it’s the public share and I login as admin which doesn’t have a quota option for it, so I’ll presume it doesn’t have a hidden quota.
Created a test user and share, tried to move the sames file using that, still storage full issue.
Nothing on the logs either.
Volume is set as Spanning
