I was installing Windows update 1903 (August 2019). I did not have enough space so I used MyPassword WD external hard drive which is password locked. When Windows restarted, it required the external drive but…without the ability to unlock it.
I have a Windows installation usb which can get me to a command prompt (and others like system restore and update uninstall, which do not work). At command prompt - START F:\UNLOCK.EXE, it returns “This version of F:\Unlock.exe is not compatible with the version of Windows you’re running.”
