Windows 8 Problem

Hi,

I have a WD TV Live Media Player and I’ve just recently upgraded to Windows 8 and I’m having some problems. The problem is that whilst I’m able connect to my laptop through network shares I can’t view my media and it says no media found. I haven’t changed anything since the upgrade from Windows 7 all the settings are the same, but if anyone has any pointers please let me know. I’m not sure if I have to wait for a new firmware update or maybe I have to tweak a few settings, however any help would be appreciated.

Note - I’ve just updated to the latest firmware which says it supports Windows 8, but I’m still getting the same message as before. “There is no media in the current folder”. Which is weird because all my media is there.
