I have a 2011 MyBookWorld network drive. I can see the drive and maintain the Pubic mapping to Y:, but I have no useful Windows 8.1 backup software to use with it. Do you have suggestions? The Windows backup SW does not see the drive, and the old WD Backup anywhere will not load. Also I have not seen a way to kimplement the Windows 8.1 WD App. Please let me know. Thanks.
The software that comes with the drive is not supported on this OS.
Is only a matter of getting a software that works with network drives and is supported by Windows 8.
