When I try to set up a My Cloud folder as an include to a Library folder, it states that it is unable to index folder and fails the include process, how do I get around this?

As you’ve found, Windows does not allow the inclusion of NAS volumes in Libraries.
But if you search Google, you can find workarounds, such as this:
