Hello Folks,
Recently, I bought a new My Passport Essential 320 GB portable HDD. I’ve WIndows 7 Ultimate edition on my AMD 3 GHz, 2 GB RAM system.
Whenever, I start taking backup of my data to my portable drive, the system turns off within few seconds…
I don’t know what’s happening, I’ve even updated the firmware of the drive to the latest (05/21/2010), but still i’m facing the same issue.
So far, I’ve been using the Internal WD HDDs since 7 years & I was extremely happy & thought to go by WD’s portable drive as well… Unfortunately, I’ve been facing this issue since 2 months now.
Could anyone help me fixing it ?
