Windows 10 says unrecogonized USB device or device not working

My Book was working perfectly on Windows 10 and then I connected the My Book to my Mac book pro and it did not show up on mac book pro. then I connected it back on windows 10 and it does not work anymore, does anyone have a solution how to fix, I have very all my data on this 8TB My Book

please help

it might be a problem in your usb port or usp device

thank you for reading my problem to help me, I tried two laptops One is Surface and other is Dell, both have multiple USB ports and it does not work on either laptop on either of their USB ports. it was working perfectly fine till I connected the My Book to Mac Book

can someone think of what could have potentially gone wrong ?
