Can you tell me if i can use this device with windows 10 as there is no option for windows 10 on the drop down bar to download the set up software

You should be able to manually use your device on Windows 10. The following link explains how to map your shares:

Please follow Windows 8 option 2 since it’ll be the closest approach to Windows 10.
