Gosh - looks like mybook is a duff product by a duff company from all the complaints I’ve seen about them !! Might be going back to the shop at this rate.
Anyway…
Got it working on Win7 (the memory hog issue appears to have gone with latest software update thatk goodness). However, on winxp it stops the machine from going into hibernate. Anyone any ideas ?
If you are using a backup software on the XP machine, that might be the cause.
Hmm, yes, that’s kinda the point - the WD backup software shouldn’t stop it hibernating . It certainly doesn’t stop my win7 64 bit machine from hibernating.
