I have a 2 to 3 yr. old WD 16 00AAJS 160 GB SCSI drive plugged to an ASUS P5N-E SLI MB.
My thought is ot purchase 2 WD Blue drives of about the same size 160 GB (or whatever you all recomend) and do RAID 0 for my Adobe speed to be increased and use the old WD 160 GB disk for a back up. I don’t want to keep a mirror of my machine’s contents. We usually delete our work and clean house on a regular basis. But back up has been a pain with my external drive holding BU for my kid’s comp.
I’ll be using JMicron’s software to manage the RAID.
Last Q: Will I have to reinstall Win XP Pro as I migrate to RAID on the two new drives?
