Will system only factory restore remove anything I have installed through ssh?

I want to reset anything I have installed on my MyCloud 4TB through ssh. Will using the system only factory restore do this for me, without me losing my files saved on the MyCloud?

I understand that this will still leave my warrenty void and I am fine with it being void.

Hello,

I believe the System Only restore will only reset the dashboard settings. Since installing software trough SSH is not supported I cannot guarantee that it will not cause any problems. Lets see what other user can comment on this.
