As I stated in my other post I can no longer access my drive. I have not tried it yet but I was wondering what is the firmware updater? and will running it erase the data on the drive?
WD recommend to backup your data before doing a firmware update. In theory, it do not erase the data on the drive, but if something goes wrong, you might end a complete data loss.
