Will resetting MyCloud lose most recent backup?

MyCloud continues to lose connection with my PC. I’m thinking that I need to reset - I’ve done this before in trying to get my computer familiar with MyCloud. Will resetting MyCloud lose most recent backup?

Have you tried just rebooting your router? How often does this happen?

It happens all the time. I reset MyCloud and got a blue LED. Apparently, I at least have a BU as of July 1 in case of a catastrophic failure, but I can’t seem to get my computer to recognize my BU device or to continue backups.
