Will not share external HD's

WD TV Live has been working great for months, weird glitch today would only play first minute of .avi then stop.  I updated the firmware and now I can see/play my shared folders on the C Drive but not my two external HD’s.  Any ideas?

I should add that I have downgraded the firmware, reset to factory, re-shared the HD’s.
