Will not backup at all

This is a MY Book Essentials 1TB

I had my computer worked on and after I got it back, went to fire this back up and make sure that it had the lastest backup.

Well there is nothing on there.

I have downloaded the lastest version of it, and now, sometimes I can’t get it to respond. When I finally get to the back up tab, it will not do anything.

Everything is checked to backup and the enable backup is on.

Is there something special that I need to do?

My is doing the same. It shows I have  0 KB available but the drive is empty. I erased all of the data when I moved and wanted to back up my current documents but I am unable to. Some times the back up tab is available and other times not. i’ve updated everything with no success… pretty mad at the moment!
