Nothing much to add as the title is more than enough. Just want to know if My Cloud will get nattive torrent client similar to My Cloud EX. That will make this a perfect system to use.
Doubtful.
The commercial versions have add-on apps built into the UI, including transmission. With the new 4.0 upgrade, they used a custom build of debian which uses 64k pagefile memory… packages have to be rebuilt for this. I’m sure someone will eventually build one, but for now, you’re better off rolling back to v3 and using ssh/apt-get
I did that ssh once and broke my system and with FW 4 having problems with that method i will wait for WD to do some thing
