Is there any difference between recording streamed shows and recording football games and other shows onto a DVR? Can the Hub be used to record streamed shows? I would appreciate an answer in very simple terms as I am new to all this and don’t know the jargon.
The hub doesn’t record anything, unless you are watching live TV via Hauppauge.

When did this come in? I have been using the same firmware for almost a year due to WD’s proclivity to break things that were working and my if it works, leave it alone philosophy.

I don’t know anything about this stuff so I’m sorry if this sounds dumb but are you saying yes the Hub will record streamed football etc if I use the app Hauppage?
No, it will record Live TV with the Hauppauge USB Tuner adapter.
