Will a caviar black 1 tb work in a DEll dimension 4700 desktop with a 520 chip set running at 2.8GHZ

but the further questions you should be asking yourself
which black caviar are you getting (sataII / 3gb/s or sataIII / 6gb/s)?
what is your mobo/chipset?
what is your OS? (i want to say that some of the sataIII / 6.0gb/s & 64mb cache drives use 4k sectors, that winXP doesnt have a clue about)
