Wil Amazon Fire Stick work in usb port of WDTV Live

I’d like to install XBMC on a fire stick and run it using one of my WDTV Live boxes as my tv does not have a usb port  Has anyone tried this?

Fire stick is HDMI the usb connector is for power only.  The HDMI is out not in.

Ok, feeling stupid.  I’ve never seen one up close and just assumed it was usb.  HDMI will be perfect.  Thanks!!
