Why WdMyCloud does not have apps like the mirror one? such as iTransmission...etc

I bought the WdMyCloud earlier this year and I am very happy with it. But when I saw the WdMyCloud Mirror, I was very upset that it has many apps that you can install such as iTransmission. 

Both devices are identical in terms of processing power and ram. So why cann’t the WdMyCloud personal does not have the option to install apps like its other brother the mirror one?

I kept hoping that a software update will come bringing this feature but many updates came and yet there is no sign that this feature is coming!!

Your post sounds more like a good Feature Request; the best place for this, is in the Ideas Exchange section. This way someone from WD will be sure to see it and will allow more users to support your idea.

However, I would first search and make sure that there are no other active Feature Requests suggesting the same or similar improvements. If there is, then you could add your post and vote on it.
