Why is the WD TV LIve site showing the old firmware download

I recently purchased a WD TV LIve media player .It has Firmware ver 1.02.21. Now I wonder whether this the latest Firmware release ( Official One ) as the date of release is 3/30/2010. I am really scared to try Beta versions. In my part of the world ( India ) it is very difficult to get an RMA. If my box gets bricked it may take months to get another one back. Overall my experience is cool with this product. There are issues with files like M4V , MP4 but MKV even 1080p high bitrate ones plays cool.

The beta ones have great features too. Specially the DVD navigation ones. I may then create my own dvd out of Televison series with episode chapters.

Any way if  WD TV live has any latest firmware that I am missing please let me know.

Sanu, 1.02.21 is the last non-Beta officially released software. However, you can download latest beta firmwares from WD site (roll back to 1.02.21 is also easy, just download the rollback file available with beta release).

Dont be scared nothing will happen to WD if you are using official firmware (non-beta or beta). I live in your neighboring country where the product is not available (someone bought me from Germany). (just avoid B-rad firmware)
