Usually, I have had no problems with an auto-update safepoint set up on a weekly basis. However, for the past two weeks, every time the update executes, I get the following message:
There was a problem updating your safepoint… with an error code 1102
When I log into the dashboard, it recommends a manual update, so I do that, but get the same error.
BTW, I am using the latest firmware AND I tried deleting the safepoint, creating a new one (which worked) but then when the update was launched, it failed.
I had the same problem a year ago and on the advice from WD deleted the safepoint, did a ‘system only restore’, reset the time, rebooted the drive, set up a new safepoint then rebooted again. This took some time but it’s never failed me since.
