Why doesn't show me the bluray lite menu?

Hi.

I have test some bd-iso files from full bluray movies and to neither of that movie show me the bd-lite lite menu and only begin to play the movie WITHOUT SHOW ME ANY MENU.

Why is that happening?

I have install the latest firmware for wd tv live gen3.

And at 3d bd-iso files it shows me the 2d movie NOT THE 3D.

Ok for the 3d movies i accept it cannot play but WHY DOESN’T PLAY BD-ISO LITE MENU AT SIMPLE BLURAY MOVIES NOT 3D.

First of all YOU ARE TOO ROOD second of all as i know the wdlxtv is ILLEGAL custom firmwares for wd tv products so you suggest to an official forum of the wd tv products to go to and instal one UNOFFICIAL AND CUSTOM firmware for wd tv products.

I’m not being “ROOD”   Rude ?  … i’m just stating facts of your online forum history

Did i suggest installing Unoffical WDLXTV Firmware ? … Nope, i did not not suggest that

WDLXTV (Custom) Firmware is not illegal   (Website would have been shut down by WD Lawyers years ago if it was illegal)

KAD79 has posted links to his Homebrew Right Here on the Official WDTV Forum (if it was “illegal” as you say… it would have been removed)

Lastly, if you are not satisfied with the device you purchased and it does not meet your requirements… SELL IT

and move on.

(stop wasting everyones time by asking WHEN and WHY)

and purchase a device that meets your requirements (and pay extra $$$ for it)

The wd tv live gen3 DOESN’T support bd-iso files and bluray lite menu???

If it support it then why at all bd-iso NOT 3D DOESN’T show any menu at all and simply play the movie and nothing more?

Keep it friendly guys. fits79, this is an user  to user forum, JoeySmyth is a normal user like yourself. As you can see in the other thread, you were already told that the WDTV doesn’t display BD menus. Asking the same question on a different thread wont get you a different answer. You are welcome to post any suggestion in the ideas board, these will be taken into consideration for future product releases. I will lock this thread since there is really nothing else that can be said.
