Why do I need Java

Hello everbody,

When I try to access my cloud with www.wd2go.com from a computer that is not mine,  there is the problem that downloading Java is necessary. However I cannot install Java on somebody’s computer.

One of the reasons I bought the MyCloud was to get access from all over the world to my files, from any computer…

Is there a way out?

Thanks but that’s to complicated for me. No idea how to do that!

Besides, WD told us setting up and using the WD MyCloud would be child’s play.

You can use the WD My Cloud OSx or Windows app.

Succeeded in using ftp.

The problem was I didn’t know that a password for your user-account was necessary.
