White light stays solid and doesn't change to blue

I resently had to change my modem and had to unplug and disconnect my My CLoud device. When I reconnected my device the light in the front turned white and remains white.

I can find my device on my network. I have tryied to discoinnect and reconnect and tried to reboot my Mac a number od times without success.

 I have also tried to reset the device without success.

Hello Nimrod2000, welcome to the WD Community. As a troubleshooting step try connecting the power cable directly to a wall socket. You can also try connecting the Ethernet cable directly to the PC. 

replaced the modem? or router? or are they combined?

what are the LEDs on the back doing?

do you have a static IP set? 

is the front LED steady or flashing?
