Which wd external hard drive should i buy?

hello everyone !
I’m buying my first external HD and I’m really puzzled , everyone speaking about how the life span can be very little ( 1 year or so … )
I have a laptop ( no PC ) so I’m gonna use it for laptop to backup all my movies and songs and the hard disk would be plugged into my Tv ( samsung smart TV ) all the time , so I was worried if this would damage the hard disk or is it okay ??

and here please help me by leaving your opinion about each of the following products and tell me which one is better for Me ( backing up movies and songs and plugging in TV all time )

TBH , 2TB or 3TB won’t matter much to me , what really matters is the lifespan of the device and its durability .

It would be a matter of the kind of drive you want, you may want a portable drive that can be taken anywhere or a desktop drive that has its own power adapter.
