Which folder to run scripts in?

Hello,

I have a million photos on my EX4 and I have been trying to organize them using different applications. None are working very well and I think it’s a problem of networking. So I would like to login to my EX4 using ssh and run a script like this one:

https://github.com/andrewning/sortphotos

I see a directory /shares/Public.

I see another directory /shares/Volume_1, that contains a clone of Public.

When I run ls -la | grep ^l I get no report of symlinks in either one.

I gather I am confused about how RAID works. I am using RAID 10 and the RAID volume in the wdmycloudex4 web interface shows “Volume_1”

So. Which directory can I mess with via command line?

Hi there and welcome to the WD community.

I have not tried this, but lets see if another user can share some information and tips on this matter

I don’t understand what you are trying to do.  If you want to run scripts, then you simply SSH to the device and then to the driectory you want to run the scripts in.  What is your issue?
