Just ordered a WD20000LSRTL Western Digital 2TB Caviar Black Desktop Hard Drive as I am more comfortable with getting one in retail packaging than I am buying a bare/OEM drive. However, I cannot find this model number anywhere listed on the Western Digital site. A search for this retail model reports no pages found. I had looked at the Black lineup before shopping around for a 2TB Black and as the WD2001FASS is the only 2TB Black around figured that had to be the one in the retail box. Now I’ve noticed that the selling site lists the WD20000LSRTL cache as being 32MB. Even the box they have pictured states 32 MB, but there is no 2TB drive with 32MB cache listed in the Black line. What drive is this?

People on the above thread are saying that it turns out to be 64mb cache version, but i’m not sure how they are confirming this. Anyone from Western Digital want to chime in to clarify? Perhaps its the same drive but the firmware drops the cache to 32MB?
