Where to connect (optically) to an AV Yamaha amp?

Hi all,

Trying to connect my WDTV gen2 to my multichannel amp (Yamaha RX v-1500) through optical connection (toslink).

My options (available optical ports) from the amp side are : DVD, DTV, CBL/SAT, CD

Which one to choose for better quality ?

Will it make any difference ?

Please advice and thanks in advance

Doesn’t matter what input you choose, as long as it’ll decode the signal and you make a mental note of what input to select whenever you’re using the WD TV.
