Where is support ? Pending folders

I have backups on my system which will appear as “backup completed” and then on the next restart of my computer will appear as “Pending - Destination not available”.  At the same time other folders will correctly scan and update as backup completed.  How do I fix the pending problem?

I have called support at least 4 times and have gotten virtually no help.  They attempt to forward my call to a Tier 2 support person but for some reason the calls never get picked up. 

I have a My Book World Edition, white light.  Windows XP system.
