When my computer [Vista Home Premium] crashed I felt happy in the thought that it was all backed up on my Passport Essential. Despite numerous attempts, the most I’ve been able to retrieve is a bit of Windows Mail and I have no idea how to restore THAT. Their video shows how to set it to retrieve - am I to expect that I’d find everything where it was pre-crash?
I now have a serious problem and though I’m talking to the WD support, nothing has progressed yet.
I’d love some input on this,
If you did the backup, and you did not make any changes to what files you wanted backed up, then the data is there. I’d give support a chance to help you recover your backup.
