Hello. I have an Elements WD 1TB drive which I use for regular back-up of data files and pictures from my PC which runs on Windows 10. The Back-up function, run by my Bullguard antivirus system, works well. However my PC , in showing information about my hard drive, says I have only 40GB free of 931GB. If I heck the “Properties” of each folder on my Elements drive they add up to around 65GB. Where has the other 826GB gone? I have rationalised the file structure on the hard drive and emptied the Recycling Bin. Help!
Not sure why you posted to the My Cloud subforum. Is the WD Elements drive connected to a My Cloud? You should be posting to the dedicated subforum for external drives. The My Cloud is a network attached storage device (NAS) not an external/portable drive.

Sorry- just not familiar with all the options/terminology. My Elements Drive is NOT connected to a My Cloud.
