I have just bought a My Book 6tb, I am not a techy person so please be kind!
Here are my issues:-
1.there is no light to tell me it’s on?
2. I installed everything and Set it to hourly autoback up
3. It seemed to do an initial back up
4. It did not do a back up this morning so did a manual one.
5 Where so I find/access my files on My Book -I cannot see where to do this?

The new models of WD My Book does not have any activity light. Further, if you have scheduled an hourly automatic backup using WD Backup software, it will automatically check for new files on the PC with hourly frequency to creates backup.
