When will WDTV Live support "header removal compression" with MKV audio?

I am sure most of you now understand WD has taken great shortcuts with supporting the MKV container. When if ever, with the firmware be updated so the device will support   “header removal compression”

I dont consider removing the compression a valid fix.

How would anyone know?  If you want my guess (which is just as good as anyone’s) I’d say there’s not a prayer of seeing it before the end of the year, if then.

And I DO consider removing the compression a valid fix, so there .

Well it appeared that the author of MKVmerge considered it a valid fix for 5 years.
