WD has completed it’s acquisition of Hitachi… when will it’s imaging software begin to work for those drives too? I tried to install the latest version of the software on a PC with a Hitachi drive today, but it refused due to no WD drives found… Seems like it wouldn’t be too hard to update the software to allow use with Hitachi drives also. Can anyone from WD reply and spare this posting from speculation? Thank you.
