When drive is full - Bug?

I have the 6TB Live Duo NAS drive and I noticed when it filled up to 5.8TB it shut down. The light on the front turned off and the drive became unresponsive. I also noticed the drive felt a little warmer than normal too even though it is in a well vented area. I let it cool off and plugged it back in. Within 3-5 minutes it shut down again. So I removed 33GBs of data and that solved the problem. Is this a bug and am I out of 200GBs of space?

Performance and stability fluctuations are expected from a storage device as it gets filled to its limit. However, a full shutdown is not common. I’d recommend contacting WD’s Support about this. You can do so over the phone or via E-mail.
