I need to buy a new SATA cable for a WD20EARS that will be installed into an HP 9270t. I’ve read lots of posts on this site regarding issues on data transfer rates, and in at least some of those cases using the “right” cable seems to help.
If you’ve had good performance from your WD20EARS, can you tell me what your cable spec is? Length, SATA II or SATA III, brand, specific part number? Direct links to Best Buy, buy.com, Amazon, Newegg, Wal-mart are also welcome. I want to buy the best cable the first time, and avoid the problems others are reporting!
