I’ve used WD Backup software to do an initial backup of all my files into a 2 Tb WD My Passport Ultra portable drive and then scheduled it to keep backing up three times per week and so far it’s all working perfectly. But what kind of backup does it perform? Is it a straightforward mirror backup, and if so what would happen if one of my source files got deleted accidentally, would it also get deleted from the backup?
