What prevents me from using the Pi Drive in another system?

Hello,

I have an application where I need to add a drive for segregate storage to a Linux based system. However this system is out of SATA ports, but does have some internal USB ports. Is there anything that would prevent me from using a Pi Drive attached to one of these internal USB ports? Is it just a power issue?

Thanks,
Jerry

As far as I am aware you just use the drive together with the lead and power supply. Its basically a normal usb drive that just has another plug on the lead to power the Pi.
You could also try it without the power supply to see if there are any problems.
